The National Assembly of Vietnam handed over some office equipment to the Senate yesterday and both sides pledged to expand cooperation in all sectors.
The donation was made after a meeting between Senate president Say Chhum and thenewly appointed Vietnamese ambassador to Cambodia, Vu Quang Minh. The donation included 60 computers, 30 laptops, 60 printers and photocopiers, all of which were worth about $10,000.
Mr Chhum said that cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam has been moving forward.
Mr Chhum added that the donated equipment would enhance the capacity of Senate officials.
